Our Club

The club originated in Princess Avenue, March. In May 1961, due to outgrowing their previous pavilion moved to their present location in the Avenue, March. In May of 1976 a new pavilion was built but unfortunately due to an arson attack in 2009 the club had to run without a pavilion until the present one was opened on April the 30th 2011.

Social Events

The club enjoys various events throughout the year which is open to members and non members to join. If you would like to find out any further information or join us for a roll up, feel free to come down and visit us at the club. We also have an official trained bowls coach that is a member of the club and available to give lessons to assist any enthusiasts.

Club History

In 1979, the club was formed and investigations into ways to improve facilities for all of the members quickly followed. A temporary portable unit was added to the original clubhouse to form a lounge and bar which opened in April 1981. Car parking was provided in the area by the use of the disused tennis courts which is now our second bowls green.

Our Club

Our pavilion is also available for private hire for small functions of up to 60 people. Fully fitted kitchen and a staffed bar is also available if required. For further information please contact Glenda our club secretary on 07968 955982
